GANGAI AMARAN TO CONTEST IN RK NAGAR BY-ELECTION
Due to the death of former Chief Minister Selvi J.Jayalalitha the RK Nagar place is to be filled with the by-election.As the election is to be held on April 12 the nomination process is going on in full swing.Every parties are announcing their candidate including the Spilted party ADMK.
As for as Bharatiya Janata Party concerned the popular singer Gangai Amaran who is going to contest in the RK Nagar By-Election.Previously it was rumored actress Gauthami and Tamizhsai Soundarajan the Taminadu BJP leader herself as a contesting candidate.Now as a end of rumor Gangai Amaran who grabbed the candidate position.It is known that recently Gangai Amaran gave his statement in media against Sasikala.The election result of RK Nagar By-election will be announced on April-15
The Madras High Court on Monday ordered the Election Commission (EC) to hold election to the RK Nagar Assembly constituency at the earliest, preferably before December 31.
